Wouldn't it be nice to manage your pdf collection the same way you manage your mp3 collection? Yes, there are lots of document management applications available, but it remains difficult to import your existing collection, since the pdfs seldom contain the metadata needed to identify them.
Download our XCite application and set it to work on your collection. It will query our database and return all the information you'll need to cite it, in handy BibTex format too!
You can also browse through our database and find information on specific authors, publishers and documents.
Although we've created some top-notch stuff to help you out you can also use our public API to get exactly the information that you need. And we're hoping that developers of document management applications will soon integrate our service into their applications.
Right now our service is free! However in the future we do hope to become a for-profit company, so we reserve the right to charge for this service in the future. Sorry :-(
